Open hearts and bright minds gathered in Ashland, Oregon from across the U.S. and a Canadian province to investigate the model of Nevzorov Haute Ecole as a platform for communication and relationship development between humans and horses. By sharing great home cooked food and early morning mountain hikes in between seminar activities, social interactions gained momentum during the weekend. Stormy May, producer of Path of the Horse and Ren Hurst, author of Riding on the Power of Others offered their insights as students of NHE and how it influenced their current work. The group kept theory lectures/discussions lively and were attentive and sensitive when with the horses.
Thoughts from a few participants ~~
“This seminar was a wonderful way to deepen your understanding of the Nevzorov Haute Ecole approach to being with your horse and for meeting like-minded folks interested in having a conscious relationship with their horses. It was also a gentle introduction to horse owners to embrace not only Nevzorov Haute Ecole for their horse, but for their own evolution as well.”

“Thank you for creating a space of total acceptance, unconditional love and a truly safe place for self development and growth! I came to learn different ways of being with horses and discovered a life practice. The NHE seminar helped me realize my interactions with horses reflects my relationship with myself and the world at large. I feel inspired and empowered after my weekend with such intelligent and compassionate people and animals! Thank you for a truly healing and transformative experience!!”

“I really had some lovely insights to the horse soul in the interactions in the afternoon with the horses in their area. It was wonderful to see the quiet curiosity and feel their soul presence as a conscious being…by being quiet enough without all the “doing” and “training” of them. Just to hang out with the horses and take the moment by moment interactions as meaningful communication. Truly an ‘expanding the paradigm’ experience.”
